The device is among many smart phones being unveiled at the 3GSM World Congress, a wireless-industry trade show in Barcelona, Spain.The mobile phone will support Quad-Band: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS, EDGE + Wi-Fi. The cell phone will have Email,Phone and SMS,Corporate Data Access,Organizer,Wireless Internet and BlackBerry Maps.The BlackBerry 8800 also features its slimmest corporate design yet, with a QWERTY keyboard, ESC key, Menu key and a trackball screen navigation system. The Smat Phone includes Integrated earpiece and microphone,Integrated speakerphone,Polyphonic, MP3 & MIDI ringtones, vibrate, on-screen or LED indicator,Embedded RIM wireless modem,Bluetooth v2.0; headset, hands-free and serial port profiles supported.The mobile phone will have 1.3 mp camera with 5x digital zoom, flash and maybe even video recording.BlackBerry 8800 will have Media Player with audio and video playback, stereo headset compatible.The Smart includes 64MB internal memory and expandable memory (Micro SD).The BlackBerry 8800 is expected to be available this month through a variety of carriers worldwide.
