Verizon and RIM unveiled BlackBerry 8830 World Edition.This dual-mode CDMA/GSM smartphone is capable of taking in a SIM card that switches between CDMA and GSM networks automatically, enabling users to experience voice coverage in 157 countries and email correspondence in 62.BlackBerry 8830 World Edition features a built-in QWERTY-keyboard, 114x66x14 mm and 132 g.The mobile phone has a media player, speakerphone, voice dialing, 64MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth connectivity, and BlackBerry push e-mail.The release of the cell phone will take place in May.BlackBerry 8830 World Edition will be available for $299.99 with a two-year contract.
