
Sony Ericsson announced the new W580 slider Walkman phone in Orlando, a day before the official start of the CTIA Wireless show. The cell phone is available in white or gray with orange accents, the W580 features a slider form factor, which is still a somewhat rare design for the company.The Sony Ericsson W580 borrows a few design traits from the Sony Ericsson W880 that was announced at 3GSM. But even so, the W580 does have few of its own distinctive tricks up its 14mm thick sleeves.The Mobile phone is equipped with 2MP camera with video capture and playback.The cell phone has internal 12MB and memory stick micro (M2) card slot.Also inside a device you'll find stereo Bluetooth, Song ID capability for identifying unfamiliar music tracks, quad-band world phone support and an FM radio.The mobile phone includes Walkman 2.0 music player, fitness features, speakerphone, instant messaging, HTML browser, RSS reader.Sony Ericsson W580 has a nice Pedometer for those who are long distance runners. The cell phone's size is 99mm x 47mm x 14mm and weight 94g. Sony Ericsson W580 include the 2-inch 262k color display.As a Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson W580 obviously caters to the music lovers.Well,with Sony Ericsson W580 you can run and monitor your steps with Pedometer while listening the Walkman or FM radio. The company has not released any pricing information yet.
